Standing on the Outside

I often see myself standing on the outside,
The outside of relationships, the outside of camaraderie, the outside of myself.
My happy mask is on but,
I am a lost soul looking at present me doing all the things that make me trapped,
And as I watch myself getting stuck with each passing day,
I wish I could hold myself.
And have a look at our life from the outside,
To see that we are unhappy and broken and that life is so much more than we think…
